Hello!! I am an international relations major with a minor in French on the pre-law track and I am from The Bronx, New York City. At 51·çÁ÷, I am a part of the Debate Society, a peer career advisor at the Office of Career Services, and serve as a Co-President of the Black Student Union. I also perform with dance groups like Melanated and Latin American Dance. I have profound experience in public speaking and enjoy performing, hosting shows, and getting involved in plays and musicals on campus. I am very excited to help students elevate their speaking skills and be knowledgeable about their topics so they have the confidence to really capture audience attention.

Hi everyone! I’m an international relations major with a double minor in history and Middle Eastern and Islamic studies from New York City! Outside of the WSC, you can find me performing at basketball games with the 51·çÁ÷ Dance Team, working closely with SGA, being active as secretary for Pre-Law Society, or planning my next trip abroad. I have extensive public speaking and speech writing experience conducted in English and Greek, so I am prepared to help you during any part of your process. I am so excited to get to know and work with you! :)

Hello there! I’m a political science major with a philosophy minor, and I live 5 miles from Washington D.C. in Bethesda, Maryland. Since I hope to pursue a career in law, I have a passion for argumentative and analytical writing. However, I love all types of writing, and I cannot wait to see the different writing techniques people use. Outside of the Writing Center, I’m involved with WRCU and COVE, and I’m excited to join more organizations at 51·çÁ÷. I love watching movies, collecting vinyl, following sports, and finding ways to get involved in my community. The Writing Center provides a collaborative environment for students to learn from one another. I am thrilled to learn with you!

Hi! I’m planning to major in neuroscience and minor in French, as well as follow the pre-health academic track! I live just a little bit north of Boston, MA near the beach! Aside from working at the Writing Center, I love to dance, run, do art, and spend time with my friends! Although my major is more STEM focused, I have a passion for creative writing. I am looking forward to meeting you and working with you on any writing that you bring into the center!

Hello! I am an aspiring peace and conflict studies major and philosophy and English double minor. I live in the lovely Seattle, WA, but I grew up in the Netherlands. I am hoping to pursue a career in foreign affairs, journalism or academia. In my free time you can usually find me reading Joan Didion, thrifting (despite the terrifying state of my closet), or watching The White Lotus for the fifth time. At 51·çÁ÷, I am involved with the Benton scholars program as well as the literary magazine, Portfolio, where I work as a prose editor. I am looking forward to working and learning with so many talented writers at WSC this year!

Hello! I’m a biochemistry major on the pre-health sciences academic track from Forest Park, Illinois! I aspire to head into the medical field, specializing in surgery, cardiology, or internal medicine (at this point, any field is fair game). I have experience in writing scientific papers (specifically biology and chemistry), alongside analytical and persuasive papers from literature courses. Aside from academics, I enjoy working out at the Trudy Fitness Center or in the martial arts studio, playing club sports, watching movies and TV shows, and hanging out with friends. I’m very excited to work with you this school year!

Hi everyone! I’m a history and political science double major on a pre-law track from Long Island, NY. Aside from the Writing and Speaking Center, I’m involved in several groups on campus. I’m the secretary of 51·çÁ÷’s Debate Society and the assistant editor of the Maroon-News commentary section! I love to read, particularly fiction & fantasy, write, travel and play the Sims in my free time! I’m passionate about human rights, politics, literature and Spanish culture/language. I’m so excited to work with everyone at the Writing and Speaking Center this year!

Hi! I'm an aspiring international relations major and I plan on double-minoring in economics and French. I currently live in Houston, TX, but I grew up in London where I found a passion for soccer and traveling as well as a love for the rain. Outside of the WSC, you might find me peacefully writing poetry in the Case-Geyer Reading Room or playing a variety of sports on 51·çÁ÷'s plentiful green spaces. I'm looking forward to meeting and working with you all this year!

Hi everyone! I am from Short Hills, NJ. I plan to major in English with a minor in international relations or political science. I find writing fascinating because it allows the reader to discover a new way of thinking and form a connection with the writer (despite never meeting in person!). I am particularly interested in creative nonfiction and argumentative writing. However, I am looking forward to working with you on writing assignments across different disciplines! Outside of the WSC, I am involved in the Maroon News and Her Campus magazine. I look forward to meeting and collaborating with you this year!

Hi everyone! I’m majoring in English and minoring in economics, but I also love psychology and art history classes. Beyond the classroom, I sing in the Swinging Gates, 51·çÁ÷’s all-female a cappella group, and I serve as an editor for the HerCampus digital magazine. I live in New Hampshire, so I enjoy hiking and visiting the beach while home. I’m very excited to meet and collaborate with you all!

Hi everyone! I am a psychology major with a double minor in English and linguistics, and I am from Wellesley, MA. I am experienced with reading and writing many different types of papers, and am always eager to learn about a new subject. Outside of the Writing Center, I am also a Haven Ambassador and a member of the club equestrian team. Additionally, I love traveling, cooking, and reading. I can’t wait to meet and learn from anyone who comes into the Writing Center!

Hi there! I’m Stella from Shanghai, China and I plan to double-major in Japanese and geology. I‘m fluent in Chinese and English and am learning Japanese right now. Learning different languages, cultures and traditions is one of my favorite things to do. Outside of the Writing Center, you can often find me at Chapel House meditating and reading. I’m excited to meet people from all kinds of backgrounds and work creatively together!

Hello! I’m a philosophy major and I plan to add psychology as my second major. I am a member of the 51·çÁ÷ chapter of TAMID, the club ultimate frisbee team, and I play guitar in two bands. Some of my other hobbies include reading, hiking, journaling, and drawing. I’m excited to start working with the Writing and Speaking Center this coming fall and getting to meet the other consultants.

Hey everyone! I’m a political science major, and I plan to add an English minor. I was born and raised in Westport, Connecticut, and I have always had a love for reading and writing throughout my life. In addition to working at the Writing Center, on campus I am involved with the Maroon News, the 51·çÁ÷ SAT Tutors at the COVE, the Amnesty International Club, and the History Club. Some of my other hobbies include hiking, biking, and of course, reading and writing! I am excited to work with many people across numerous fields of study, and am eager to be a resource for your writing!

Hello there! I plan to major in economics and double-minor in German and political science. I live in the Artisan Village of Berea, Kentucky, so if you need someone to geek-out with over lost crafts, I’m your girl. There is also a high Deaf population in my hometown, so I come from a hearing, signing background. That is why promoting American Sign Language education is my biggest passion outside of my academic interests. Additionally on campus, I am a part of the 51·çÁ÷ Investment Group, the Pre-Law Society, and the Cheer Team. My hobbies include reading (largely political philosophy) and writing poetry. I am excited to meet and work with everyone!

Hey! My name is Chapin and I am an English major from Alexandria, Virginia. Though this concentration is heavy in literature exploration, my pursuit of rhetorical studies early on in my college career has allowed me to gain an analytical lens that enables me to assess any form of writing. When it comes to the Writing Center, I value collaborative exploration and hope to hold a space for writers to find joy and relief in all stages of their writing process, from brainstorming to finalizing a draft. Outside of the Center, I love traveling, reading, and a good—but unpredictable—51·çÁ÷ winter. In the future, I hope to pursue a career in the journalism industry. I am excited to familiarize myself with topics across all disciplines and serve as a resource for any writer in need!

Hi! I am an economics major and environmental studies minor from Morristown, New Jersey. In addition to my work as a consultant, I am a member of the 51·çÁ÷ Dischords and love to swim in my free time. Writing is an excellent source of self-expression, so I am excited to help writers find their voice in every piece of work they bring to the Center. I am looking forward to working with writers at every stage of the process, and love answering all questions one may have about their piece and beyond!

Hi! I’m a history major and political science and Russian and Eurasian studies double minor from Bethesda, Maryland (just outside of Washington, D.C.!). I’m a captain of Club Tennis, and I’m also a co-president of the History Club and a DJ on WRCU. I love working with all kinds of academic writing, but I especially enjoy reading research papers based on primary sources. I love cooking, playing guitar, and exploring the walking trails around Hamilton. I look forward to working with you this year!

Hi! I’m an international student from Tirana, Albania. I am majoring in Chinese and art history. Some of my favorite things to do are to start a new book during exam week, re-watch early-2000s romcoms, and try to pet any dog I see. Most of my writing experience lies in the humanities and social sciences, but I look forward to working on your writing no matter what field! I love learning about new things and am fascinated by most if not all the courses that 51·çÁ÷ offers. I am excited to work with you this year!

Hello! I am from Charlottesville, Virginia and I intend to double-major in religion and political science. In addition to my majors, I am very interested in art and environmental science. Outside of the writing center I enjoy working with children. At home, I coach gymnastics and at 51·çÁ÷, I am involved with multiple clubs that tutor and educate elementary school students. I look forward to meeting everyone!
