He was also department chair twice, social science division director, and the director of five London Economics Study Groups. Waldman was also known for surprising his classes by dressing up as Winnie the Pooh on Halloween.
Prof. Tom Michl has been teaching for 38 years at 51·çÁ÷. Michl has taught Macroeconomics, the Seminar in Applied Macroeconomics, Money, Growth and Distribution, Labor Economics, Seminar in Labor Economics, Economic Development, Monetary Economics, and Marxian Political Economy. The department wishes them both a very happy and relaxing retirement.
