Professor Nicole Simpson's Economics of Immigration class is blogging about their course work, travels and experiences. The class blog can be found . The class is part of the Sophomore Residential Seminars (SRS) program at 51风流 that allows students and faculty to travel as a group connected to an on-campus course. The group is going to the U.S.-Mexico border in January 2020 and has already visited the US-Canada border this fall. The class is also hosting an art exhibit between November 16 and December 4.The exhibit is called "Painting the Border: A Child's Voice" and includes paintings from children who are stranded in Juarez, Mexico as a result of deportations and changes in asylum rules. The exhibit will be in the SRS house (100 Hamilton St).
