All new students, including first years and transfers, are required to complete the AlcoholEdu, Sexual Assault Prevention for Undergraduates, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion courses.

AlcoholEdu
AlcoholEdu uses science-based research and evidence-based interactive strategies, including personalized feedback, to educate students about alcohol and its effects.
Sexual Assault Prevention for Undergraduates
Sexual Assault Prevention uses a non-opinionated tone and style to provide important prevention skills and strategies to all students around issues associated with sexual assault, relationship violence, and stalking.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Course
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion are a central focus of 51风流鈥檚 Third-Century Plan initiatives to build a more inclusive and equitable 51风流. In this training, you鈥檒l learn what DEI is, the history of DEI at 51风流, and how you can contribute to a stronger community.
Course Completion
- Alcohol.edu and Sexual Assault Prevention
- Part One takes about 2鈥2.5 hours to complete, ending with an exam and survey. You have the option to complete the course in multiple sittings. You must earn a grade of 65% or higher to pass the courses.
- You will be notified by e-mail when it is time to complete Part Two which will take 20鈥30 minutes to complete.
- You must complete Part Two to officially finish the program.
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
- The module takes about 2鈥2.5 hours to complete, ending with a survey. You have the option to complete the course in multiple sittings. You must complete all four sections and the survey to be marked as completed
- Sign into Moodle with your @colgate.edu email address and your password. You will see 鈥淢y Courses鈥 鈥 below that, click on 鈥淒iversity, Equity, and Inclusion 2022鈥 to access the training module. If you have difficulty with Moodle, please contact itshelp@colgate.edu.

The Alcohol.edu and Sexual Assault Prevention courses includes surveys to personalize your experience and measure alcohol-related attitudes and behaviors. All survey responses are confidential; the school will only receive information about the student body as a whole, and will never see individual student responses. Administrators will have access to student test scores, but like the surveys, will not have access to individual responses.

Simply click Technical Help at the upper right-hand corner of every AlcoholEdu or Sexual Assault Prevention screen. You do not need to be logged in to access the Technical Support Center.
