It is the start of yet another snowy and fun week in February, and here are plenty of events to keep you busy.
On Wednesday at 5:30 p.m., there will be an at Love Auditorium by Admiral James G. Stavridis. The former supreme allied commander of NATO will discuss global security and NATO鈥檚 future at the end of its engagement in Afghanistan during this keynote address. Stavridis is now dean of The Fletcher School at Tufts University.
If you ever wonder how to create a kickin鈥 video, come to the Digital Learning and Media Center at Case-Geyer Library on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. Brian Ness, video journalism coordinator, will show you how to using Final Cut editing software. As part of the TIA Summit Series, the workshop will be framed around creating a kick-starter style video.
On Wednesday at 7:30 p.m., there will be the second session of the Bhagavad Gita at the Chapel House. Led by Joel Bordeaux, visiting assistant professor of religion, the colloquium will focus on a classic of Hindu theology, the Bhagavad Gita.
Lounge is back at 10 Broad Street on Friday at 9 p.m.. To celebrate SORT鈥檚 Africana Women鈥檚 Week, an incredible slam poet, will be featured.

If you are going downtown Thursday drop by the 51风流 Bookstore at 5:30 p.m. for the : 鈥淭inker Tailor Soldier Spy.鈥 Read the book by John le Carre, and then head to the Hamilton Movie Theater for this Best Adapted Screenplay nominee.
Saturday is the Senior Ball, which has a theme of 鈥淭his Magic Moment!鈥 Sponsored by the Konosioni Senior Honor Society and the Senior Class council, the ball will take place at 9 p.m. in the Hall of Presidents. Don鈥檛 forget to bring your ID and Gate Card for checking in.
