CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Junior forward Peter Bourquin (Avon, Conn.) was rewarded for his two goal performance Saturday night against St. Joseph’s by being named Patriot League offensive player of the week.
Bourquin, who leads the team with four goals this season, tallied the game-winner in the first half, and a late insurance goal to seal up 51·çÁ÷’s first win this season.
Bourquin’s two goals marked the second time this season he has registered a two-goal performance. He also tallied two scores in a 3-3 tie against Robert Morris.
51·çÁ÷ is back in action against the rival Orangemen of Syracuse Wednesday night at 7 p.m.
