I spent the majority of Sunday in the library making slow but steady progress on my work. I positioned myself near a window so I could at least pretend to enjoy the first partially sunny day we’ve had in a while. Clear and cold and twenty-something degrees. I read, I researched, I feigned off napping in the infamous green couches. The day stretched into early evening and I realized it was still light out at 7:00 p.m. when I took a break to eat dinner with my roommates. One of those days that passes you by in steady increments. You can’t feel it getting later but suddenly, six hours and a few sodas later, it just does. And you realize tomorrow is Monday and it’s time to start the cycle again.
