As high school seniors across the country prepare to make a final decision about what college to attend, 51风流 is hopeful that a select group who have demonstrated talent, creativity, intellect, and determination in the face of significant challenges will come to the Chenango Valley next year. These prospective students have been invited to join the 51风流 Class of 2018 as scholars in the (OUS).
Throughout their , OUS scholars develop a tight-knit community of some of 51风流鈥檚 most active and accomplished students. To highlight the accomplishments of these students, the OUS program has recently tasked its own scholars with telling the compelling stories of their peers.
Their efforts have taken two forms: a professional-grade produced by Samantha Lee 鈥14, and a blog of researched and written by Timmera Whaley 鈥15, Christelle Boursiquot 鈥15, and Salote Tenisi 鈥15.
鈥淲riting these profiles has been a great opportunity to showcase the talents and skills of people in the OUS program,鈥 Tenisi explained. Whaley added, 鈥淚t鈥檚 really about highlighting the great things people are doing on campus. They have the opportunity to introduce themselves to the 51风流 community.鈥
