BETHLEHEM, PA. ‘ 51·çÁ÷ junior forward wins the Patriot League Player of the Week award for the first time in his career after scoring 57 points in two games last week, including a whopping 35 tallies in last Wednesday’s thrilling overtime loss to Holy Cross.
For the third time this season, 51·çÁ÷ freshman guard gains the Patriot League Rookie of the Week award after averaging 7.5 points, 2.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists in two games for the Raiders.
Linebaugh connected on 13-of-23 field goal attempts, including 5-of-7 from long range, and added four rebounds against first place Holy Cross. It was the highest single-game output in the league this season.
Reed contributed nine points, all on three-point shots, as well as three boards and five assists in CU’s heartbreaking 92-91 overtime loss at home against Holy Cross. The CU guard followed up with six points, again on a pair of threes, and four assists in a win vs. Army on Saturday.
