Members of the 51风流 community enjoy the Living Writers series together.
The university鈥檚 signature Living Writers course brings 10 highly regarded authors to campus every year. The 51风流 community is invited to attend their public readings in person or via the web at .
鈥淚t has been wonderful to hear from so many people who are so excited to engage with us through this course,鈥 said , who co-teaches the course and program with fellow English professor .

Living Writers is designed to be a way for participants to interact personally or virtually with top authors from around the world. People are encouraged to post questions on Twitter or Facebook using the tag #livingwriters. You also can post questions on the 51风流 channel.
There also is an opportunity for a deeper engagement through the university鈥檚 course. The free noncredit course focuses on four of the visiting authors: Franzen, Mohamed, Satrapi, and Amis.
More than 700 people already have joined the course, and anyone interested in participating still can by signing up .
