Men’s Tennis rolls by Bloomsburg

Hamilton, NY — – The Raiders didn’t lose a match, defeating Bloomsburg by a score of 7-0.

The doubles teams of Reed Hagmann and Evan Ambrose defeated Mick McGrath and Aleks Kalezic 9-7.  Zander Lowe and Jon Bedard also won their match against Kurtis Caster and Brian Bogus 9-7, while Marshall Wheeler and Jake Heims won their doubles match 8-3.

Reed Hagmann won in three sets defeating Mike McGrath 6-1, 3-6, 6-3.  Eric Saccullo and Jake Heims followed suit with victories over Aleks Kalezic and Brain Bogus respectively.  The remaining Raiders won in straight sets.  Marshal Wheeler beat Mark Vellek 6-3, 6-2.  Jon Bedard won his match 7-6, 6-3 vs. Kurtis Castor, and Evan Ambrose won 6-0, 6-2 over Bloomburg’s Brendan Miller.

This win puts 51·çÁ÷ at 2-3.  The Raiders have a double header coming up on Sunday, February 22 against Niagra and Binghamton.  The match against Niagra starts at 10:00 a.m.  They play Bighamton at 5:00 p.m.
