Raiders 4×1,500 relay finishes second behind University of Michigan

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.‘ The 51·çÁ÷ men’s track and field team completed the second day of competition at the Florida State.

The highlight of the day came as the Raider’s 4×1,500 relay team of Ian Hill (West Hartford, Conn.), Rob Van Dine (Binghamton, N.Y.),  Louis Di Nuzzo (Loudonville, N.Y.) and Kevin Meehan (Bay Shore, N.Y.) led 51·çÁ÷ to a second-place finish with a time of 16:08.30. The time, which beat track powers Air Force and Tennessee, was also the second best time on 51·çÁ÷’s top-ten record board

Senior Eric Hiller (Elizabethtown, Pa.), who placed second overall in the 400-meter dash on the first day of competition, was invited to run in the championship where he placed fifth overall with a time of 48.63.

The Raiders are back in action on Saturday, April 5 as they head to Williamsburg, Va., to participate in the Colonial Relays on the William & Mary campus.
