Waldemar Auguscinski takes lone first-place finish for Raiders

WEST POINT, N.Y. ‘ Junior Waldemar Auguscinski (Passaic, N.J.) captured 51·çÁ÷’s lone first place finish with a throw of 15.30 meters in the men’s shot put at the West Point Quadrangular on Saturday afternoon at Gillis Field House. The Raiders placed fourth out of four teams but had several individuals score for the team.

Junior Louis DiNuzzo (Loudonville, N.Y.) took second place in the 1 mile run with a time of 4:20.00 while freshman Sean Curran (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) took eighth in a time of 4:24.00.

Senior Eric Hiller (Elizabethtown, Pa.) took third place in the 55-meter dash with a time of 6.71 seconds and ran the 200-meter dash in 22.01 seconds for a seventh-place finish.

The Raiders are back in action on Friday, Jan. 24 as they travel to Northeastern for a 6 p.m., meet.
