Student-athlete's Goals for Good program highlighted

Kevin McNamara takes his role as senior captain of the men’s hockey team at 51·çÁ÷ very seriously, on and off the ice. But his vision, and leadership qualities, extend far beyond lacing up the skates for the Raiders.

A 5-foot-11, 180-pound defenseman who skates in all situations for coach Don Vaughan, the Belmont Hill School grad is reaching out to those in need through Goals For Good, a program he founded prior to this season.

The charitable endeavor involves all 12 men’s and women’s Division I programs in the ECAC; every program receives pledges from fans based on goals scored or games won through , a website designed and promoted by McNamara.
