U.S. Olympian Shelley Looney to Appear At Women’s Hockey Center Ice Club Weekend

Hamilton, NY — United States women’s hockey Olympic Team member Shelley Looney will be on hand to sign autographs at 51·çÁ÷’s Center Ice Club weekend on January 30-31.  The Raiders host the Purple Eagles of Niagara on Friday at 7 p.m. and again on Saturday at 2 p.m.

Looney will be signing autographs in Starr Rink beginning Friday evening at 5:30 p.m. until the start of the Raiders contest at 7 p.m.  She will be signing autographs again on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. in Starr Rink.

Looney played collegiate hockey at Northeastern University and was named ECAC Player of the Year in 93-94.  The forward scored the game-winning goal in the gold medal game of the 1998 Olympics against Canada.
