Hamilton, NY — . – The 51·çÁ÷ women’s cross country team had strong performances out of its team this Saturday in the Harry Lang Invitational. Senior Joanne Campbell finished third overall in the 6k race in a time of 24:37.1, while sophomores Jessica Dunton and Anna Shaver finished 8th and 10th overall. The Raiders only entered these three runners in the 6k, while the rest of team competed in the 4k.
In the 4k 51·çÁ÷ finished first overall as a team with 17 points, beating out Oswego State and LeMoyne. Finishing first overall was first-year Lia Cross in a time of 18:07.6, while right behind her came fellow first-year Emily Tansey in 18:255.3. Also scoring for the Raiders was first-year Julia Barker finishing sixth, and first-year Lauren Kerensky finishing 8th.
The Raiders next travel to Army to compete against Army, Bucknell, Holy Cross, and Cornell.
