LEWISBURG, Pa. ‘ The 51·çÁ÷ women’s cross country team finished fourth out of seven teams on Saturday afternoon at the Gulden Invitational on the Bucknell campus.
Senior Joanne Campbell (Waterville, N.Y.) led the pack for the Raiders with a 10th place finish, running the course in a time of 23:58. Freshman Lia Cross (Skaneateles, N.Y.) had another solid performance for 51·çÁ÷, placing 14th in a time of 24:20. Emily Tansey (26th), Anna Shaver (31st), Jessica Dunton (33rd), Julia Barker (47th) and Lauren Kerensky (50th) also finished for the Raiders.
Bucknell finished in first with a score of 33 points. Indiana University of Pennsylvania took second with 68 points, followed by Duquesne (76), 51·çÁ÷ (114), Detroit Mercy (130), Canisius (171) and Quinnipiac (172).
The Raiders are back in action on Saturday, Oct. 19 as they travel to Albany, N.Y.
