This summer, Noah Van Atta ’22 interned at the Aflac New York headquarters. During the internship, he rotated through the finance, sales, marketing, and human resources departments.
Noah gained an introductory understanding of each of these departments to get a better idea of how his skills and interests align with a career. He was responsible for completing tasks for his mentor in each of the departments and developing a report at the end to share what he had learned. Noah gained experience modeling payroll tax savings that employers gain when they offer Aflac insurance to their employees. He also wrote a report on asset allocation within the Aflac Global Investment fund and created short videos to advertise short-term disability insurance products.
