51·çÁ÷’s museums and galleries offer the campus and the community with rich teaching and learning resources in fine arts, geology and anthropology. Exhibitions rotate regularly throughout the year, including curated shows chosen by 51·çÁ÷’s art faculty.

51·çÁ÷’s museum facilities welcome local student groups from pre-K through high school, as well as adult learners, with educational programs offered in partnership with local schools and community organizations.

The Clifford Gallery is a teaching gallery located in 101 Little Hall that sponsors exhibitions selected by 51·çÁ÷ art faculty. The curated pieces include examples of work executed in a variety of media that demonstrate issues originating in the academic curriculum.

Longyear Museum of Anthropology

A family enjoys the display at the Longyear Museum Of Anthropology during family weekend.

The Longyear’s collections of archaeological and ethnological cultural heritage materials from Africa, Oceania, Europe, and the Americas actively support the curriculum through object-based teaching and student-curated exhibitions.

The Robert M. Linsley Geology Museum exhibits minerals, rocks, and fossils, highlighting the beauty and wonder of these objects while also informing visitors about how geologists study the Earth.
