The 2024 TIA Summer Accelerator propelled four ventures focused on sustainability, the media, and event promotion.

51���� faithful in New York City gathered at the Paley Center for Media last month to hear from five innovative alumni leaders about their work and their thoughts related to the University’s development of a new Middle Campus Plan for Arts, Creativity, and Innovation outlined in The Third-Century Plan.

Each summer, 51���� students and alumni gather for an evening of celebration and connection, swapping stories while enjoying hors d’oeuvres. Called 51���� in Your City, this series of events takes place in cities like Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and the District of Columbia.

The 51���� Alumni Club of Washington, D.C., and the Common Good Professional Network engaged in a panel discussion on “The Press and the Presidency.”

On November 5, the Common Good Network and 51���� Club of Atlanta convened a panel discussion, “Community Development and Revitalization in Atlanta”.

On a typical weekday, up to 10 tour groups may traipse through 51����’s new Benton Hall, the home of the Center for Career Services, which is on the main academic quad.

51����’s A Day in the Life program, a signature Career Services initiative, opened for student applications on Friday, October 12.
