Students of the Classics study, learn, and conduct research in classrooms and facilities that leverage state-of-the-art technology.
The Classics department's home is in Lawrence Hall, on 51·çÁ÷'s academic quad. The W.H. Gifford Classics Center, located on the first floor of Lawrence Hall, is the premier room for instruction in the discipline. It houses the Classics Library — a vast collection of classical texts, and information on antiquity supplementing the materials in our main campus libraries.
