Overview

On the Bethesda Biomedical Research study group, students spend a full academic semester living and learning in Bethesda, MD. The group is accompanied by a 51·çÁ÷ faculty director who teaches part of the students’ course load.

The professional laboratory facilities in Bethesda, MD, housing over 5000 active researchers, are the official federal health-related research facilities of the United States.

Students will live in fully furnished apartments managed by Turnkey Housing Solutions in Bethesda, close to the Metro Red line. 

Academic Focus

The Bethesda Biomedical Research study group is based in the Departments of Biology, Chemistry and Biochemistry, and the Neuroscience Program. The specific focus of any given group on the Bethesda Biomedical Research program will depend upon the 51·çÁ÷ faculty member who is directing the group.
